On 5th December, having been closed for several years and following major remodelling work, the curtain was raised once again at the Arriaga Theatre.
Twenty five years have passed since then. Twenty five seasons offering a programme of theatre, opera, zarzuela operetta, ballet and contemporary dance, classical and modern music, lyrical recitals and pop concerts. Twenty five years creating and sharing spectacles.
We would like to commemorate this with a concert under the musical direction of Iker Sánchez, conducting the Bilbao Orkestra Sifonikoa – BOS Orquesta Sinfónica de Bilbao and a number of singers who are regulars on our stage, such as Andeka Gorrotxategi, Naroa Intxausti, Mikeldi Atxalandabaso, Marifé Nogales, Itziar de Unda, Santos Ariño, Itxaro Mentxka, Marta Ubieta, Ainhoa Zuazua, Javier Tomé and Olatz Saitua, who simply had to be involved in this celebration.
